"5th Friday"
GENERAL PURPOSE
We partner with KITSAP RESCUE MISSION (KRM) to provide meals, clothing, and on occasion, financial assistance to help those who are poor and homeless in the greater Bremerton area.
MEALS
CCP has arranged to provide dinner on the 5th Fridays (See church calendar for dates).
CCP provides the set up, preparation and serving of food, ministry to guests, and clean up after the meal.
KRM provides the table service and location for the meal.
CLOTHING
CCP provides a collection bin to gather new or gently-used clothing and new hygiene products to be taken down to the KRM
For larger items such as: coats, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, etc. - we encourage those who donate to take them directly to the KRM located on 1250 Lincoln Ave., Bremerton, WA.
DONATE
CCP gladly accepts any monetary donations to the KRM If the Lord leads you to donate, simply earmark "KRM" on your check or select "5th Friday" fund HERE.
VOLUNTEER
We look forward to serving with anyone who has a heartfelt desire to help those in need....feeding our guests physically as well as spiritually.
We thank you for your interest and participation in Homeless Ministries. There is a KRM training session you must complete before you can assist at the KRM facility.
